Where is the quality control?

This is a nice set, but there were broken pieces that had to be replaced.

First it was a leg for the table. You could tell the leg was broken and repaired at the factory. Why bother to send this piece when they knew the inferior repair would have been sent back by any unlucky customer that received it.

Second was a piece for the chair that would stabilize the legs of the chair.

Filling out paperwork, mailing and waiting for new pieces to arrive added time to when this set could actually be used.

I believe a good QC person (or a worker that took pride in his/her work) would have caught these defects before they were shipped out. Maybe more training is needed at the factory.
