An excellent purchase!
I'm 62, use an electric wheelchair to get around most places, though I walk some in my home, and I'm a woman. I'm innately quite strong, so that was to my advantage. I put this bunk bed together by myself. Two men lifted the top bed to set it in place, but other than that, I did all the work. It was not easy because of my physical limitations, and it took me two solid days. I came out of this ordeal with cuts and bruises - hopefully that won't happen to you. There were some screws missing (need to contact company for more), but all items are easy to locate, and the directions are pretty clear. I would have liked directions in print as well as the very detailed pictures. I will have to lower the hooks on the lower part of the ladder - they're positioned as directed and are a little over an inch too high, therefore making it impossible to secure it at the bottom.
