First I will say that this is definitely not the same quality that one would expect if you paid $1000+ for a rug. For the money, however, this is a great purchase. I wanted a rug to cover my wood dining room floor- both to dampen sound and to compliment the decor. As I have three children, one of whom is a toddler, I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money for an item that will likely be spilled on and generally abused, but I still wanted something that looked decent. I was really surprised and happy with how nice this rug looks. It was pretty curled at first, but running an iron over it (lowest steam setting) with a towel between the iron and the rug worked well to get it more or less flat. Plus, I ordered it Wednesday afternoon and it arrived on Thursday afternoon, which was just amazing.
